You know what my favorite beer is?
Deschutes Brewery Mirror Pond Pale Ale.
What does a vegan eat at the Deschutes Brewery Bend Public House?
The Luv Burger.
It’s the only vegan entree on the menu. I think it’s excellent. (You can also order the fried chickpeas for a vegan appetizer: delicious!) The Luv Burger is a somewhat spicy black bean burger…Mmm. You can have it with regular fries, sweet potato fries or salad (vegan salad dressing is available).
The seasonal beer that I like right now is Chasin’ Freshies. I like the snow scene on the bottle, but it would be way cooler if that snowboard was replaced with some telemark skis! I’m getting excited for the snow to fall. 🙂
Last thing:
The menu at the brewery has a “V” icon for “Vegetarian” items. Too bad that most of those items are not vegan. (Also, take note that the vegan sounding soup of the day– white bean minestrone– contained a broth of boiled down chickens. I’m glad I asked the waitress.)
WTF??…How can duck fat be considered vegetarian?? (Yes, I filled out a comment card!)

Thanks for the invite. I live in WA, but my (veg) family lives in Bend, OR. I believe they have attended some VegNet Bend gatherings.
